On November 12th , at 4.00pm, Lisbon time, we welcome Doctor Marc Vermulst, who will be presenting “Mutagenesis in human aging and disease”.The seminar will be held exclusively online. Attendance is free, but registration is mandatory via the link.

Bio:Marc Vermulst got his PhD at the University of Washington in genetics and molecular biology. He designs new tools to examine the role of mutagenesis in human aging and disease and applies these tools to mice and human cell lines to determine how mutations and epi-mutations drive the natural aging process and various age-related diseases. Finally, he uses genetic manipulation and molecular biology to try and rejuvenate mammalian cells and reverse the hallmarks of the aging process.
