Urgent Care Clinic

The Urgent Care Clinic is a walk-in clinic that provides emergency treatment for new and previously registered patients including, but not limited to, the following services:

• Initial dental screening
• Dental trauma
• Uncontrolled dental bleeding
• Rapidly increasing facial infections and swellings
• Severe dental and facial pain that cannot be relieved by over-the-counter medications

The services are provided by our intern doctors (graduate dentists) under the supervision of qualified licensed doctors. Patients can be admitted if they:

• Have a condition that requires an urgent care
• possess valid UAE residency visa
• Have a file in the Hospital (if not, a new file will be opened)

when you arrive at UDHS’s triage, a doctor will evaluate your condition and allocate you to one of the clinics. There is usually a waiting time, due to the high number of patients we see every day. Once admitted, the urgent condition will be evaluated and stabilized. You then have the option to continue treatment in UDHS or elsewhere. If you choose to continue the treatment at UDHS, your name will be added to the waiting list.
