Great Places to Visit Near the University of Sharjah
Sharjah Airport is located 13km southeast of Sharjah. It is a few minutes' drive from UoS and 15 km from central Dubai.

You will never struggle to find a place for entertainment when at UoS. There are neighborhood malls situated around the University of Sharjah within a 5-minute drive. Such as Matajer and 06 malls that are populated with cafes, eateries, supermarkets, clothing shops, and a cinema chain at 06 Mall.

There is also a huge shopping mall with various forms of entertainment a short driving distance from UoS. “Al Zahia City Center” is one of the largest shopping malls in the UAE that services the whole area. The University of Sharjah campus houses a major medical center for both general medicine and dental medicine.The University Hospital Sharjah and the University Dental Hospital Sharjah are less than a 5-minute drive from campus. All types of medical services are provided by experienced medical staff and professors in case of any emergency God forbid.
New residential communities, such as Al Zahia and Arada, have recently opened near the UoS campus.
