Department Overview
Upon the directive of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and founder of the University of Sharjah, the Disability Resource Center was established as an independent center to support people with disabilities and assume responsibility for their inclusion, integration, and empowerment. To achieve this goal, the Center employs a comprehensive and an integrated work system that cares for people with disabilities from the time of their enrollment in the University to well beyond their graduation.\ \
