Beijing Normal University provides a variety of scholarship for international students, including: Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A and Type B), Confucius China Studies Program, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Beijing Government Scholarship, BNU New International Student Scholarship, Beijing Normal University "Silk Road Muduo” Scholarship, The Belt and Road School Scholarship (only for prospective students of The Belt and Road School).

Applicants of Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius China Studies Program, and International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship applicants should apply in Beijing Normal University "International Students Online Service System", and submit application in the system of scholarship funding agencies, i.e. China Scholarship Council or Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban).

Application steps are as follow:

Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A)

1. Contact the dispatching authorities for recommendation of CGS candidacy;

2. Check and pay attention to the latest Admission Brochure of BNU;

3. Apply online (CSC and BNU system) and upload the application materials;

4. Send paper materials to the dispatching authorities and BNU；

5. Wait for the review results of BNU and CSC;

6. Wait for admission result (Admission Letter will be sent by the dispatching authorities or BNU).

Chinese Government Scholarship (Type B)

1. Check and pay attention to the latest Admission Brochure of BNU;

2. Apply online (CSC and BNU system) and upload the application materials;

3. Send paper materials to BNU;

4. Wait for the review results of BNU and CSC;

5. Wait for admission result (Admission Letter will be sent by BNU).

Confucius China Studies Program, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

1. Check and pay attention to the latest Admission Brochure of BNU;

2. Apply online (CCS System or CIS System and BNU system) and upload the application materials;

3. Send paper materials to Confucius Institute Headquarters and BNU;

4. Wait for the review results of BNU and Confucius Institute Headquarters;

5. Wait for admission result (Admission Letter will be sent by BNU).

Beijing Government Scholarship, Beijing Normal University New International Student Scholarship, Beijing Normal University "Silk Road Muduo” Scholarship, The Belt and Road School Scholarship (only for prospective students of The Belt and Road School), the above scholarships are abbreviated to BNU Scholarships.

1. Check and pay attention to the latest Admission Brochure of BNU;

2. Apply online (BNU system) and upload the application materials;

3. Send paper materials to BNU;

4. Wait for the review results of BNU;

5. Wait for admission result (Admission Letter will be sent by BNU).
