# Food Security Call Third Cycle Awardees

The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to announce that Hamad Bin Khalifa University has received two awards from Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) in the third cycle of their joint Food Security Call in partnership with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), and congratulates the LPIs of the awarded projects.

This call was aimed at enhancing food security measures in Qatar through applied research related to the main pillars of the National Food Security Strategy, with a focus on harnessing local and external expertise and knowledge in food security-related science and technology to develop solutions for local conditions.
