Research
The University of Johannesburg’s Faculty of Humanities Research Centre serves as a dynamic hub for interdisciplinary research and scholarly collaboration. It promotes critical inquiry into pressing social, political, cultural, and economic issues affecting South Africa, the continent, and the globe.
Teaching and Learning
The Faculty of Humanities at UJ provides a dynamic teaching and learning environment structured around comprehensive undergraduate, postgraduate, and short-learning programmes across disciplines like psychology, sociology, languages, social work, and community development.
Global Engagement
The Division for Global Engagement at the University of Johannesburg steers the university’s internationalisation strategy. It works across multiple fronts to cultivate global partnerships, support international student recruitment, and enrich academic and research collaborations worldwide.
