Once a year the Faculty of Economics and Business bids its graduates farewell and says “Bye-Bye, Wiwi!”. The next graduation ceremony will take place on

Friday, March 5, 2027 at 4:00 p.m. in the Audimax, Campus Westend

During the graduation ceremony, graduates, dressed in academic gowns, will be handed their certificates. Each graduate can bring two guests and we would also like to invite the faculty to join the ceremony. There will be no fee for participating.

Schedule

4:00 p.m. - Entrance of the graduates

4:15 p.m. - Welcome remarks, speeches, awarding of the top graduates

5:00 p.m. - Presentation of the bachelor certificates

5:50 p.m. - Photoshoot for all graduates

6:00 p.m. - Reception and get-together\

Information about Registration

Graduates of the B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and the B.Sc. in Business Education can register from January 20 until February 21.\ Because the Audimax has limited space, 390 graduates can each bring two guests. Places will be given on a first come, first served basis.\ Unfortunately we cannot mail invitations due to information security regulations as your e-mail addresses are deleted from our databases at the end of your studies. \ The Faculty of Economics and Business wants to honor its best students. Therefore, only students whose complete grades have been registered with the examinations office can participate in the graduation ceremony. We cannot include students whose status is „preliminary pass“. This means that those students who will write their final exams between January and March, are not considered graduates.

Information about Participation

The graduation ceremony will take place on March 05, 2027 at 4 pm in the lecture hall building (Hörsaalzentrum), Theodor-W.-Adorno-Platz 5, Campus Westend.\ The gowns will be lent to you by the Faculty of Economics and Business. Please note that graduates have to wear gowns and mortar boards (hats). Gowns will be handed out from 1:40 pm until 3:20 pm in HZ 15, where you will also get an introduction to the ceremony.\ The rental fee for the gown and mortar board is 49 € (to be paid in advance when registering online via College Fashion). You will receive further information on the issuing of the gowns via e-mail appr. one week before the graduation. \ Due to the limited capacities each graduate can bring two guests.\ You will receive the tickets for you registered guests when picking up your gown.
