Our counseling sessions are absolutely confidential!
The Student Advisory Services will answer your questions concerning your (future) studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business and will help you solve problems that might come up during your studies.
Your first contact will be with one of our student aides: Emma Troyke, Jana Schneider, Robin Fenchel and Zoé Alp.
Further support is available from our experienced counselors Christoph Bestian Fiolic (Master), Christina Sudler (Bachelor), Sandra Weiser (Bachelor) and Vinzent Weber (Wirtschaftspädagogik).

Studying Business Education (Wirtschaftspädagogik)
Students in the bachelor and master programs in Business Education (Wirtschaftspädagogik) can also contact student counselling for Business Education if they have questions on the following topics: Internship (Bachelor: PWP1 and Master: SPÜ / PEU), Study Track II, choosing a study track and job opportunities, the general subject (study track II) and questions concerning the bachelor / master thesis at the chair of business education: Studienfachberatung Wirtschaftspädagogik
Recommendation for internships
Student counselling will issue a letter of recommendation for students in the bachelor's programs in Economics and Business as well as Business Education who are applying for internships. Please send us an e-mail stating your name and matriculation number.
The letter will state that the rules and regulations for your program recommend a three-month internship.
Additional services at Goethe University
Examination Office
The examination office offers specific office hours for bachelor's, minor and master's students on the topics of examinations, recognition of external credits, issuing of diplomas and transcripts etc.
IT Services (HRZ)
Goethe University's IT department (Hochschulrechenzentrum/HRZ offers IT-support to students (Goethe-Card, HRZ-Account, sudent e-mail account etc.). Additionally the HRZ offers support with technical issues.
Studium Lehre Internationales (SLI)
Goethe University's phone hot-line, the registrar's office and central student counselling will help you with questions regarding applications, semester dates, enrollment, chnage of study programs, dual enrollment, leave of absence and exmatriculation.
International Student Services
Goethe University's Global Office is the first point of contact for international students and applicants who can get support on questions regarding the organsation and modes of application for different study programs.
Studierendenwerk
The Studentenwerk offers supports for students on a number of social and economic matters. The Studentenwerk supplies the infrastructure needed to study successfully in the areas of economic support, housing, cafeterias and dining halls as well as counslling.
