Ausschreibung Förderpreise

Sie haben im letzten Semester eine gute Seminararbeit im Master an unserem Fachbereich geschrieben? Dann können Sie sich einfach und unkompliziert mit nur einer Seite Zusammenfassung auf den Förderpreis der Frankfurter Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft (fwwg) – der Alumniorganisation unseres Fachbereichs - bewerben.

\ Background

In 2004 our Alumni Association established an academic prize called the fwwg-Förderpreis. The award today consists of two lines of funding: The Fraport-Förderpreis for Bachelor students and the Norbert-Walter-Förderpreis for Master students.

Eligibility

Term paper that was written in one of the bachelor or master courses of our faculty in the winter term 2025-26. Paper and presentation can be in English or German. Please ask your professor/seminar instructor to nominate you or in case of a mark of 2.0 or better in the seminar you can nominate yourself.

Application

Students must either be nominated by their seminar instructors (students are encouraged to ask their professor/seminar instructor for a nomination) or may nominate themselves if they have received a grade of 2.0 or better in the relevant seminar. If you are nominated by your seminar instructor, please submit this nomination to fwwg. If you nominate yourself, proof of your grade is sufficient.

In addition, all applicants must submit a short abstract of their seminar paper. The required formatting template can be found here. The abstract should not exceed one DIN A4 page.

The presentation is not part of the application and only needs to be submitted if you receive confirmation that you have been selected for the presentation date. Our response will be sent two days after the application deadline. Both the paper and the presentation may be submitted/presented in German or English. Please submit all documents exclusively in PDF format via this form.

Deadlines:\ Monday 4th of May 2026 (Bachelor) and Monday 11th of May 2026 (Master).

1st Price: 500/600 EUR

2nd Price: 300/400 EUR

3rd Price: 100/200 EUR

Master: Tuesday 19th of May 2026, 5.00 pm.
