\r\n\t1. Eligibility: \r\n \r\n\r\n

\r\n\t- For current students whose NYCU Scholarship award duration ends in August 2026. \r\n\t- The following situations are NOT eligible for the NYCU scholarship:\r\n\t \r\n\t\t- Students who are currently receiving scholarship whose award duration includes the Fall 2026 semester, such as the NYCU Scholarship, Taiwan Scholarships, ESP Scholarship, UST Scholarship, TIGP Scholarship, NSNT Scholarship, ICDF Scholarship, NYCU Elite Ph.D., or scholarship sponsored by the government of student’s home country \r\n\t\t- Students holding a working VISA/ARC. \r\n\t\r\n\t \r\n \r\n\r\n

\r\n\t1. NYCU Scholarship Regulation (Latest version): Please read the regulation carefully before applying for the NYCU scholarship. \r\n\t2. NYCU International Student Scholarship Application System Link : The application link will be emailed during office hours on January 15. \r\n\t3. Application Duration: January 15th, 2026 (GMT+8) till March 15th, 2026 at 12:00 noon (GMT+8) \r\n \r\n\r\n

\r\n\t- We only accept the online application and please upload PDF files to the system. \r\n\t- Make sure to submit your application before the deadline. \r\n\t- Late submissions will not be considered! \r\n\t- Please check the system and your mail regularly to confirm your application status. If you are requested to resubmit any document, the email notice will be sent out from the system. \r\n \r\n\r\n

\r\n\t1. Type of Award*The scholarships may be awarded separately or simultaneously.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\t\t1. Monthly Stipend*The number and the amount of the scholarships are flexibly adjusted based on budgetary considerations.\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\t\t1. University stipend \r\n\t\t\t2. The match-funding from the college, department or advisor \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\t2. Tuition Awards\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\t\t1. Tuition waiver (full waiving of tuition and credit fees) \r\n\t\t\t2. Tuitions and credit fees charged according to the rates of local students. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\t3. Tuition and credit fees of extended study students charged according as local students. \r\n\t\r\n\t \r\n\t2. Required Documents for Application (Please upload PDF files only)\r\n\t \r\n\t\t1. Declaration \r\n\t\t2. NYCU full official transcript \r\n\t\t3. Conduct Grades \r\n\t\t4. Research Report \r\n\t\t5. The Chinese language waived certificate (Optional) \r\n\t\t6. Supplementary materials (Optional) \r\n\t\t7. Recommendation Letter (Submit deadline – March 15, 2026, at 23:59)\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\t\t- You can submit the application before the recommendation letter is completed. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t \r\n\t3. Important Notes\r\n\t \r\n\t\t- The scholarship result will be announced by email to applicants in late June 2026. \r\n\t\t- OIA will check your documents after your submission and will notify applicants if their application is incomplete. You are not able to revise your application after submission. Your application won’t be considered if your application is incomplete. \r\n\t\t- Meeting the minimum grade requirement listed in scholarship regulation is one of the requirements to be eligible to apply for the scholarship. However, it doesn’t mean that you are guaranteed to get a scholarship award. All scholarship award allocation is subject to the annual budget condition, the number of applicants and so on. All qualified applications will be reviewed by the committees of departments /colleges/ the university.
