NYCU provides scholarship opportunities for international students pursuing degrees.\ \r\n\ \r\nWho is Eligible\ \r\nCurrent students who have not received scholarships or grants from the Taiwan government and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 for graduate students and 3.0 for undergraduate students are eligible.\ \r\n\ \r\nHow to apply\ \r\nCurrent NYCU students\ \r\nApply and upload the required documents on the scholarship application system.\ \r\n\ \r\nIncoming students\ \r\nApply along with your admission application\ \r\n\ \r\nApplication Period (for current NYCU students)\ \r\n■ Fall Semester: January 15-March 15\ \r\n■ Spring Semester: July 15-September 15\ \r\n＊Late application documents will not be accepted.\ \r\n\ \r\nScholarship Content\ \r\nMonthly stipends and the tuition award can be awarded together or separately.\ \r\n   \ \r\nMonthly Stipend\ \r\nGiven monthly, this includes a scholarship funded by the OIA and the matching funds from their college, department, or advisor.\ \r\n   \ \r\nTuition Award\ \r\n   ■ Tuition Waiver\ \r\n   ■ Tuition fees charged as local students\ \r\n   Refer to Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees\ \r\n\ \r\nScholarship duration\ \r\nGenerally award duration\ \r\nValid for 1 year\ \r\n\ \r\nMaximum award duration\ \r\n■ Undergraduate: 4 years (Determined by the regulated study periods in respective departments.)\ \r\n■ Master: 2 years\ \r\n■ Ph.D.: 5 years\ \r\n*For students who extend their study period or have reached the maximum scholarship duration, if they achieve the required academic performance standard, they are eligible to apply for the local student tuition rate. The application period will be the same as the general application period.\ \r\n\ \r\nCriteria and the required documents for the application\ \r\nRefer to NYCU scholarship regulations\ \r\n\ \r\nImportant Notes\ \r\n■ Scholarship recipients are required to submit their transcripts and tuition payment receipts for each semester before the specified deadline to be eligible for the scholarship in the following semester.\ \r\n■ Recipients will receive the scholarship on the 10th of each month, except for January and the start of each semester (September).\ \r\n■ Scholarship recipients who are undergraduate students must enroll in at least 4 Mandarin courses, graduate students must enroll in at least 2 Mandarin courses during their studies.\ \r\n■ For students who extend their study period or have reached the maximum scholarship duration, if they achieve the required academic performance standard, they are eligible to apply for the local student tuition rate. The application period will be the same as the general application period.
