Information Sessions
Information sessions provide more details about GSA’s elections, giving graduate students the opportunity to ask questions and clarify anything about the elections before voting or standing as candidates.
For the 2026 Elections, the information sessions will be held as follows:

- Tuesday 24th March 5pm-6pm (1888 Building/Zoom)
- Wednesday 25th March 12pm-1pm (1888 Building/Zoom)
Candidates’ Forums
As per rule 3.7 of the Electoral Regulations, the Returning Officer will arrange forums where members have an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of candidates. The Returning Officer may, in their sole discretion, convene separate candidate forums for any of the GSA Board, Representative Council and Faculty Council. All candidates will be invited to attend, and each attending candidate may make a speech of no longer than three minutes.
For the 2026 elections, the candidates’ forums will be held as follows:

- Board Candidates Forum–Wednesday, 8 April 5:00 PM (1888 Building/Zoom)
- Representative & Faculty Council Candidates Forum– Thursday, 9 April 5:00 PM (1888 Building/Zoom)
Note: The information sessions and the candidates’ forum will be chaired and hosted by the Returning Officer.
