Gain Real World Job Interview Experience

Looking to enter the workforce in 2026? Want to brush up on your job interview skills?

Join GSA for a mock interview by recruiters from Blue Sky Career Consulting to get a taste of what the interview process is like in Australia and gain confidence in your interview skills.

Interview Details

interviews will be held on March 18th between 10am – 4pm. Each interview will run for 30 minutes (including personalised feedback) and will be held in the 1888 Building:

Interview Skills Workshop
Need some help preparing for your interview? Join us in our interview Skills Workshops to prepare. You’ll learn how to plan effectively, understand what interviewers are really looking for, answer different types of questions, and structure your responses for impact. We’ll also cover tips on building rapport, managing nerves, and closing the interview with confidence. March 17th, 12 – 1.30pm Register now

How Does it Work?

  1. Send us your CV\ Send your CV to info@gsa.unimelb.edu.au to apply for a mock interview session.\ \
  2. *Get your interview time*GSA will be in touch to confirm an interview time slot during the periods mentioned above.\ \
  3. Join our Interview Skills Workshop*Join our Interview Skills Workshop and learn how to prepare for an interview, what interviewers really want to know and how to answer different types of questions, scenarios etc. Attending this workshop is optional, but highly recommended!***
  4. *It’s interview time!*Students will sit with a recruiter from Blue Sky Career Consulting who will conduct a mock interview.
  5. Receive valuable feedback

On the day students will have a chance to experience attending and participating in an Australian interview as a job-seeker, receive some feedback from the recruiter at the end.
