Sport is an important part of the student experience at the University of Melbourne, which is why MU Sport's activities are spread across Dookie, Southbank, Werribee, Ballarat, Wangaratta, Burnley and Creswick campuses and Rural Health sites.

Our Sports Beyond Parkville Program provides sporting, recreational and fitness opportunities for students studying regionally, via rural health rotations or at other non-Parkville campuses.

Dookie Campus

Activity information

Dookie has a long and proud sporting tradition of participating in the annual Ag Games against other agricultural colleges or playing local footy or netball with Dookie United.

UoM Shepparton Campus have 3 bikes available on campus for students and staff to use. Whether you want to go on a weekend bike ride or commute into town, contact UoM Staff member Clint Bathman clint.bathman@unimelb.edu.au to find out bike lock combinations!

Southbank VCA Campus

Campus Sport

A variety of fun, social, organised lunchtime competitions for the entire university community. Games are for players of all abilities, so why not get a little hot and sweaty in your lunch break and join in the fun with friends, class-mates or colleagues. Community Sport

Casual Sport

Make use of the outdoor space and basketball ring on campus. Come along and have a casual play and engage in some social activities at lunch time. Chat to the VSSV Reps on campus to borrow out the soccer equipment for a lunchtime game!
