Main application round

for the academic year 2026/27

Bewteen mid-January and the beginning of March, students can apply for an Erasmus+ spot for the academic year 2026/27 (winter semester, summer semester). It is not possible to apply outside the application round, without exception.

Please note that generally mobility grants as well as all universities and spots will only be available during the main application round, the number of spots during the second application round is limited and the nomination is offered without a grant.

Application deadline: 05 March 2026

Second application round

for the summer semester 2027

Students who want to undertake an Erasmus+ exchange in the summer semester 2027 can apply for any remaining spots between mid-September and the beginning of October. It is not possible to apply outside the application round, without exception.

Please note that generally mobility grants as well as all universities and spots will only be available during the main application round, the number of spots during the second application round is limited and the nomination is offered without a grant.

Application period: 15 September - 05 October 2026

Please note that earlier application deadlines may apply depending on your department - please contact your department for more detailed information. It is absolutely not possible to submit applications after 05.March (for the main application round) and 05.October (for the second application round).
