We are responsible for planning and coordinating **consistent corporate communication** by the University of Vienna. By providing **up-to-date information about research, teaching and university development**, we communicate **future-oriented knowledge** to society. In addition, we strive to continuously enhance the **visibility** of the University of Vienna and we promote **dialogue** that transcends the boundaries of **disciplines** and **target groups** and are responsible for [**alumni relations**](https://alumni.univie.ac.at/en)**.**

  Our **Media Relations team** shares information and news about the University of Vienna with the media and the public. They refer **journalists** to **suitable experts** from all disciplines and subject areas, from **digitalisation** to quantum physics.

  On the **intranet**, employees find the **latest news** and information about a wide range of services, including the **graphics design service, the English service, the video services, the web service and photo services**, the **media library** as well as **PowerPoint templates**. The **Communication Toolbox** provides helpful tips for a consistent appearance outside the University.

- ### Corporate identity

  The goal is to create a clear and distinctive positioning for the **University of Vienna brand**. We provide the **logos** of the University of Vienna to **partners** and **external organisations**. The trademark is protected and may only be used in combination with the seal and typeface. In addition, we provide a Corporate Design Manual; however, it is available in German only.
