# Confirmations

Current students of the University of Vienna can download most confirmations themselves in [u:space](http://uspace.univie.ac.at/en) at Personal matters > My documents at any time. For confirmations issued in English you first switch the language u:space is displayed in to English. These confirmations carry an official electronic signature and are accepted at official authorities.

External institutions, parents and third parties only receive confirmations if they can provide an authorisation (power of attorney) and a copy of the personal ID of the person concerned.

### Confirmations in u:space

- Confirmation of study periods\
  In your confirmation of study periods you find an overview of all degree and non-degree programmes you are or were admitted to at the University of Vienna. It contains data regarding the beginning and end of studies, re-registered semesters and semesters on leave. The confirmation of study periods is available in German and English.
- Confirmation of enrolment \
  Your confirmation of enrolment confirms that you are enrolled for a specific degree or non-degree programme in a specific semester. If you are admitted to multiple programmes at the University of Vienna there is a separate confirmation of enrolment for each programme. Other authorities often refer to the confirmation of enrolment as "Inskriptionsbestätigung". The confirmation of enrolment is available in German and English. You can download the document for the current semester as soon as the prescribed tuition fee/Students' Union fee has been received by the University of Vienna.
- Student record sheet\
  In your student record sheet you can find an overview of all programmes you are and were admitted to. It is issued for each semester. The student record sheet contains information about the curriculum and version, beginning of studies, enrolment status (or end of studies) and possible resumptions of studies. The student record sheet is only available in German. You can download the document for the current semester as soon as the prescribed tuition fee/Students' Union fee has been received by the University of Vienna.
- Transcript of records\
  In your transcript of records you can see all examination results at the University of Vienna. It contains information about the examination date and completion of courses as well as ECTS received thereby. The transcript of records is available in German and English.
- Confirmation of courses passed \
  In the confirmation of courses passed only successfully completed examinations are listed.  It contains information about the examination date and completion of courses as well as ECTS received thereby. The confirmation of courses passed is available in German and English.
- Payment request/confirmation\
  In your payment request/confirmation you will find the amount of the tuition fee/Students' Union fee prescribed for the current semester. Furthermore, the date you paid at is confirmed as soon as the fee has been received by the University of Vienna. The payment request/confirmation is available as bilingual document (German and English).
- Confirmation of withdrawal\
  If you close one (or multiple) of your degree programmes you can download a confirmation of withdrawal for this programme. For successfully completed programmes a confirmation of withdrawal cannot be issued. The confirmation of withdrawal is only available in German.
