The bachelor’s programme in Protestant Theology aims at imparting introductory and basic knowledge of the following subjects: Old Testament, New Testament, church history, systematic theology, practical theology, ecclesiastical law, religious education and study of religions. Students familiarise themselves with methods from exegesis, philology, historical studies, philosophy, system analysis, social and human science and study of religions.

## Study programme
The bachelor’s programme in Protestant Theology consists of an Introductory and Orientation Period (STEOP), compulsory modules addressing the different subdisciplines, an excursion as well as compulsory modules. To successfully complete the programme, students have to write two bachelor’s theses.
