The master’s programme in Sociology particularly emphasises the responsibility of research towards society, especially regarding the respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, freedom of science and teaching, freedom of learning, the diversity of different types of academic doctrines and methods, as well as the connection of research and practice. The master’s programme promotes equal treatment of people of all types of sexual orientation, religious, social and ethnic origin, as well as the integration of people with disabilites. Moreover, it aims to raise awareness for issues of gender balance and diversity.
