Do you want to study a master programme at the University of Vienna? The prerequisite for this is the completion of an eligible bachelor or diploma programme (= in the same discipline) at a post-secondary educational institution.
In the MAG you’ll learn:
- which degree programmes are considered as eligible for your chosen degree programme
- if you need to fulfil any qualitative admission prerequisites for admission to your chosen degree programme and, if you do, which.
- if you need to fulfil any supplementary examinations after admission to your chosen degree programme and, if you do, which.
If your previous degree is not listed in the Master Access Guide of the respective degree programme, your application will be checked individually as a decision has to be made on a case-by-case basis. To do this, you must apply for admission to the degree programme by the relevant deadline. The University of Vienna can only assess the eligibility of your previous degree on the basis of your complete application. Preliminary assessments are not possible.
The admission requirements according to university law and the applicable master curriculum are binding.
