Every doctoral student at the University of Vienna, regardless of the funding has to apply for admission. In this session we will inform you in detail about the admission procedure. We will discuss the following topics:
- Application documents
- Language requirements
- u:account and u:space - the application tools
- Legalisation and translation requirements for the application documents.

Funding possibilities in a nutshell
Financing their dissertation is a central question for young scientists. Organizing entry and residence in Austria
Visas and residence permits are often a major hurdle for international doctoral candidates. In this session, we invite a legal expert from the Austria's Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) to discuss the entry and residence conditions for study and research in Austria.
