Business Administration Electives, Course Module in Accounting. Given as a free-standing Course Module and within Bachelor´s programmes semester 5.

The overall goal of the course is to develop the students' ability to read and first financial reports and to be able to critically assess them.

The aim of the course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of business development and management in various industries. They are trained in analyzing activities, identifying problems and proposing solutions.

The course module is an in-depth study of the Accounting Specialization

Note! This course module does not include a Bachelor's Degree Thesis.

Course structure

Teaching Format

The teaching consists of lectures as well as group exercises and/or seminars. The structure of the teaching is stated in information that is available before each semester on each course website.\ Language of instruction is stated in the syllabus for each course.

Courses within the Cours Module

The Course Module is an in-depth study of the Accounting specialization and consists of four courses:

Financial Reporting 7,5 hp\ Operations Management 7,5 hp\ Corporate Enterprise Analysis 7,5 hp\ Performance Management 7,5 hp

Assessment

The course module includes various examination forms such as individual written examinations, home examinations and ongoing examinations in accordance with what is stated in the syllabus for each course.

Schedule

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.

Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
