Centre for Medieval Studies – CMS
Welcome to the Centre for Medieval Studies!
The purpose of the Centre for Medieval Studies at Stockholm University is to promote interdisciplinary medieval research.
We bring together medieval research in history, economic history, archaeology, art history, human- and physical geography, languages and quaternary science- to mention just a few areas of study. We do this by taking advantage of these different approaches to research: the methods, theories and unique skills, to produce research of the middle ages that is extensive, aware and inclusive.
