Welcome to the Hans Blix Centre
The Hans Blix Centre for the History of International Relations at Stockholm University is a Swedish forum for interdisciplinary research about power relations in the international system from a historical perspectives.
The Hans Blix Centre for the History of International Relations at Stockholm University (HBC) is a interdisciplinary platform created by researchers from the Department of Economic History and International Relations and the Department of History. The HBC continously welcomes Swedish and international visiting researchers as well as associated researchers from the greater Stockholm area.
The purpose of the Centre is to foster and stimulate research on international history, broadly defined. Its activities include an international seminar series, a book series in Swedish published with Santérus and a variety of international cooperations with colleagues and research groups at universities such as Copenhagen, Graz, Greifswald, Harvard, Oslo, SciencesPo Paris Turku.
