## About the library

Stockholm University Library is a central support for the university’s researchers, teachers and students. Our goal is to create the best conditions for research, teaching and scholarly communication.

When Stockholm University was founded at the end of the 1870s, the ground was also laid for Stockholm University Library.

The library was created by architect Ralph Erskine. Inside we have a large number of works of art, both older and modern works.

We are located at the University's main campus area Frescati, at Universitetsvägen 14, adjacent to the D-building.
