At the Department of Criminology, research and teaching are combined in issues related to crime, society and security. All our teachers are active researchers and the research spans areas such as youth crime, drug policy, recidivism and cessation of crime. As a student with us, you will gain diverse knowledge about the structure of crime, social problems and criminal policy.

The Department of Criminology offers education at the undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels. You can study bachelor’s and master’s programmes as well as standalone courses, either on campus or online.
