Here you will find practical information and an overview of all the documents you need for the public PhD defence admission process. The documents can be downloaded directly.

Maastricht University offers different types of support to PhD candidates. Some of the services available to you may depend on whether:

Please note! For the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences it is required to submit the Request for Admission, Change or Expansion (previously Model Letters 1, 2 and 2b) and the Request for the Composition of the Assessment Committee (previously Model Letter 3) digitally via PhD track. For more information, visit the FHML PhD Office.

Please note! If you have a non-Dutch master's degree or a HBO degree, you have to verify your degree before sending Model Letter 1. Please contact your faculty. In all cases, you have to send the Declaration of Scientific Integrity along with Model Letter 1.
