# Sustainability Dashboard

**Data monitoring is key in order to achieve the ambitious sustainability goals set out by Maastricht University. Knowing where we currently stand with our sustainability performance is necessary to set out the best measures to reduce our footprint. Moreover, as Maastricht University we want to be open and transparent towards our community about our performance on sustainability goals. This way, we want to show our commitment towards these goals and strengthen UM's community engagement.**

To ensure accountability in monitoring and transparency, the interactive Sustainability Dashboard has been launched. Currently, the dashboard includes information on gas, water and electricity usage across the university over the last 4 years. In the coming time, the dashboard will be expanded gradually with additional themes, such as recycling, waste disposal and CO2 impact. 

The dashboard consists of two interactive pages. On page 1, you will see a tabular overview. In the top right-hand corner, you can apply a filter for the whole of UM or by location and building.

On page 2, you will see a map of the buildings in Maastricht. Here, you can click on a building on the map and use the filter in the top right-hand corner to select a year from the past four years.

Click on the green button on the right to go to the Sustainability Dashboard.
