On this webpage, you can find information about parking spaces, accessibility for wheelchairs, accessible toilets and how to act in case of an evacuation.

- The Brightlands Smart Services Campus is open for visitors on working days from 08:00 to 18:00.

### Parking

Two accessible parking spaces are available on level -2 of the parking garage at Oude Lindestraat 70, 6411 EJ Heerlen. If you’re arriving by car, please contact your UM host in advance, as you’ll need to park on this level rather than in the visitor area. Entry from the garage requires a badge, so your contact person can meet you to give you access to the building entrance. Access to the elevator is facilitated by automatic doors and is therefore wheelchair accessible.

### Accessible entrance

The main entrance of the Brightlands Smart Services Campus (Smedestraat 2, 6411 CR Heerlen) is wheelchair accessible. As soon as you enter the building, the front desk staff will assist you.

### Toilets

Accessible toilets can be found in:

- Room 0.52 on level 0
- Room 1.64 on level 1
- Room 4.61 on level 4
- Room 5.61 on level 5

## Evacuation

In case of emergency, the elevators will not be in use (due to fire hazard). If you need assistance evacuating via the stairs, our emergency response officers (company emergency responders) will help you to leave the building via the stairwell by means of an Evacuation Mattress or Evac Chair (these are located on level 6).

What to do when the evacuation alarm (slow whoop) goes off:

- Tell others that you need help, so they can alert an emergency response team member
- If there is a telephone in your flight area, call +31 (0)6 12 52 16 29 for help
- Stay in the escape area of the stairwell until the evacuation team arrives
