As a UM SPORTS member, you get a discount on swimming at the Maastricht Geusseltbad pool. You can swim lanes at set times with a valid UM SPORTS membership and swim entries on your Geusseltbad card.

## Swimming lanes at the Geusseltbad pool

You need all of the following to be able to swim lanes at the Geusseltbad pool with a discount:

- A valid UM SPORTS membership: [‘Sports’ or ‘All-in-one’ membership](https://myusc.maastrichtuniversity.nl/p/lidworden) valid for at least a semester (Gym memberships and monthly memberships are excluded)
- A Geusseltbad card: You can purchase this at the Geusseltbad reception. The card costs €5.
- Swim entries: You can purchase discounted swim entries in groups of 5, 10 or 30 at the University Sports Centre front desk. You will receive an initialled and stamped receipt, which you will then give to the reception at the Geusseltbad to have the swim entries credited to your Geusseltbad card. So, make sure to look after this receipt.

Please note that swim entries are valid until 31 August each year. After this date, your swim entries will expire. Swim entries are non-refundable.

## Discounted rates for swim entries - NEW RATES FROM 1 SEPT 2025

The rates for the swim entries depend on your UM SPORTS membership category and the number of entries you purchase.
