When travelling to Maastricht from abroad, there are many bus stations, train stations and airports nearby to choose from. But with the information below, navigating your way to your new home in Maastricht will be a breeze.

Greener travel options: train and bus

At Maastricht University (UM), we're dedicated to promoting sustainable travel habits among our students and staff. We encourage the use of greener transportation options for those with travel times that are within 13 hours of Maastricht. 

Opting for buses or trains over planes can reduce your carbon footprint dramatically. For example, flying to Maastricht from London emits 252kg of CO₂.
