## Conversion of the residence permit

A residence permit for study purposes can be converted into:

- a permit for employed work on attainment of any university degree after attending courses in Italy (the percentage of the studies undertaken in Italy is not relevant);
- a permit for self-employed work on attainment of any university degree after attending courses in Italy (the percentage of the studies undertaken in Italy is not relevant);
- a permit for employed work during a course (the percentage of the studies undertaken in Italy is relevant);
- a permit for self-employed work during a course;
- a residence permit for religious purposes for students who take vows and carry out their religious work in Italy after their training.
