Padua, also due to its geographical location in the heart of the Venetian plain, is easily accessible via the main transport routes. The city also has a well-developed public transportation network and numerous other options for getty around.

By plane and train

The nearest airports are those of Venice and Treviso, both of which can be reached from Padua by coach (see “out-of-town buses”) or by a fixed-rate taxi service (www.airservicepadova.it, +39 049 8704425). The train station is served by most urban bus lines.
