Bilateral agreements
The University of Padua manages numerous partnerships with universities and other international institutions with the aim of developing teaching and research activities, encouraging the exchange of lecturers and students, and promoting innovation.
In 2025, a new International Partnership Policy (available on this page) was drafted with the aim of providing the University of Padua with a unified and consistent framework for identifying, developing, approving, monitoring and reviewing educational collaborations with non-European partners and with European partners for agreements other than Erasmus+.\ In line with the University Strategic Plan 2023-2027, the International Partnership Policy recognises international partnerships as a key enabler of its mission to promote excellence in education, towards the growth of students and staff, and the international positioning of the University. To this end, it introduces a quality- rather than quantity-based approach, based on principles of responsibility and strategic alignment.
For University of Padua staff, please refer to the International Relations Division intranet (ari.unipd.it - access with SSO) for complete documentation and further details.\ Departments and offices interested in proposing a new agreement or renewing an existing one can contact the Projects and Mobility Office - Strategic Partnerships Unit using the contact details provided at the bottom of the page.
