HR Excellence in Research HRS4R. The European Charter for Researchers at the University of Padua
For more than a decade, the University of Padua has been designing and implementing three-year action plans to concretely apply the principles established by the European Charter for Researchers. The University's commitment to policies supporting research staff has enabled it to be accredited as a European institution awarded the "HR Excellence in Research" seal.
On December 18, 2023, the European Council formally adopted the Council Recommendation on a framework for research careers, including a new European Charter for Researchers, which replaces the previous 2005 version.
