Campus life
Where is our campus? The whole city is the campus!
A CITY-BASED UNIVERSITY
The University of Padua is a city-based university: our 8 Schools and 32 Departments are spread throughout the city centre, with the exception of the 4 Departments of the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, which are located in the Agripolis campus (less than 10km far from downtown Padua) to better meet the necessities of such disciplines. Other research and teaching facilities are situated in various cities of the Veneto region, such as Vicenza, Treviso, Rovigo, Chioggia-Venice etc.
FACILITIES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE
Libraries, canteens, study rooms and other facilities are conveniently located next to the main university buildings, at walking (or cycling) distance from one another.
HOUSING
We can provide our students with accommodation in various halls of residence, where different prices and conditions are applied based on supplied service. Some of them also reserve a quota for international students. If you prefer sharing a private flat with other students, a flourishing real estate market will guarantee you suitable accommodation.
THE UNIVERSITY SPORTS CENTRE
Staying fit despite many hours of study will not be a problem: the CUS (Centro Universitario Sportivo - University Sports Centre) provides two large sport facilities where you can practice many sports (athletics, rugby, volleyball, basketball, boat races…) both at amateur and competitive level. You will also have the chance to represent the University in local and national Championships!
