Our student services have been designed around you, to support you since the very beginning of your journey with us until your graduation, and even beyond!

### HELPING YOU SETTLE IN

Collecting all relevant information about funding opportunities, admission procedures, entry requirements etc. will no longer be a problem thanks to the **[Admissions and Welcome Unit](https://www.unipd.it/en/international-relations).** The team will also support you when you are new in town, organising welcome initiatives for international students and putting you in contact with your [Buddy](https://www.unipd.it/en/buddy), a senior University student who will help you settle in during your first (and probably toughest!) weeks in Padua.

### ASSISTANCE ON IMMIGRATION-RELATED PROCEDURES

If you are uncertain about the procedures related to your stay in Italy, the [SAOS Desk (Immigration Support Service)](https://www.unipd.it/en/saos) is what you should look for: you will be supported in asking for your residence permit and be informed about all [immigration-related](https://www.unipd.it/en/visas-immigration) issues.

### INCLUSION

Students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) have access to [specific tools and services](https://www.unipd.it/en/inclusion) in order to overcome barriers and be as independent as possible in their studies.

Knowing basic Italian can be useful in many real-life situations, and help you blend in with the locals: that’s why we strongly advise you to attend [Italian Language Courses](https://www.unipd.it/en/learn-italian-cla) at the CLA and even get a CILS certificate!

### STUDENT SUPPORT

As a university student, you may sometimes encounter difficulties in managing your study time, filling in your study plan or preparing for your exams: [Tutoring Service](https://www.unipd.it/en/study-support) will be there to help! And in the unfortunate event that you have to struggle with psychological or medical issues, we will be supporting you through [dedicated services](https://www.unipd.it/en/healthcare).
