Galilean School of Higher Education
The Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori (Galilean School of Higher Education) is a school of excellence that combines traditional university education with a series of special in-house courses comprising seminars and lectures by visiting professors of international fame. Divided into three areas, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, the Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori illustrates the techniques and methods used for scientific research, and then provides students with a deeper insight into the field.
Admitted students are guaranteed free board and lodging and funds to cover the purchase of books and the expenses for study trips, plus personal tutoring to help them plan their university careers. Admissions are subjected to passing anentrance examination; if accepted, students are then required to maintain high average grades for their entire degree course.
It is possible to apply for 2 curriculums at the Galilean School:
5-years curriculum: 30 places for students who are applying for the first year of a Bachelor’s degree or a Single-cycle degree course at the University of Padova\ Admission notice for a.y. 2025/26 (Italian version) - deadline: August 28, 2025
2-years curriculum:12 places for students who are applying for the first year of a Master’s Degree course or the 4th year of a Single-cycle degree course at the University of Padova. \ International students can apply to the Galilean School’s master program. If you are admitted, you will attend both the course units at the University of Padua and the internal courses of the Galilean School, and you will be provided with free board and housing, language courses and personal study and career tutoring. As an international student, you may additionally be offered a reimbursement of travel expenses and a grant. You are expected to share rights and duties of all Galilean students - deadline: May 31, 2025
