## Whilst you're away

- Return relevant Global Office **[documentation](https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/students/study-abroad/documentation/)**.
- Ensure you **matriculate** at St Andrews using the online facility in August/September.
- Update your **personal details** online if these change after you matriculate.
- **Check your email regularly** and keep in touch with St Andrews; notify us if you have any problems.  If you have any difficulty accessing your account due to Multi-factor authentication you should raise an IT Support call.
- If applying for **accommodation in St Andrews** for your return, ensure you meet any deadlines, returning student applications are open for one week only in February.
- Keep in touch with your **Honours Adviser** about module choice for your return.
- Before you leave your host university, make sure you clear any debts you have there. It is unlikely a transcript of your results will be issued otherwise.
