The University of St Andrews offers a number of summer courses each year. These courses are taught by full-time members of the faculties of the University and are open to students and individuals from around the world. For students who are interested in experiencing what it is like to study at the University of St Andrews or are looking for a taste of university life, a summer school may be the perfect opportunity.
The University also designs tailored courses for a range of educational institutions and other organisations.

Summer Academic Experience Courses
These courses give high-school students aged 16 to 18 the chance to experience student life at the University.
Academic English Qualification Courses
These short summer courses are for users of English as an additional language who are considering Master's level study at an English-medium university in the future.

The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of St Andrews offers two residential geology programmes in Scotland during the summer semester.
