Employability Bursary

The Employability Bursary helps you to do things that enhance your employability. If your application is successful, you can get up to £500 (or £800) per academic year.

Apply

When applications open, you apply through MySaint.  You will receive a decision within 20 working days of applications closing.

Funding available

All students can apply for up to £500 per academic year.

You can apply for up to £800, if you:

You can submit multiple applications, but can receive only one award per academic year. Funding is not guaranteed.

What's covered

The Employability Bursary covers costs related to employment. It does not cover core academic activities.

This isn't a complete list, and all requests to help you improve your employability will be considered.

Applications are only accepted for confirmed opportunities, such as a secured internship or scheduled interview.

Application advice

Explain where you are on your career journey and how you think the bursary will help you. Give as much detail as you can.

When you have completed your work-related activity, you must provide a short report (up to 400 words) describing the impact of the bursary on your employability.
