The Careers Centre has gathered a variety of resources to help you find full-time jobs in the UK. This includes information on the types of jobs available to you as a graduate, sources of job vacancies, and resources to help you research employers.

If you are an international student, see guidance on working in the UK after you graduate. For help with moving or settling in Scotland, visit Scotland's Migration Service.

Types of graduate employment

There are two main types of graduate employment in the UK: graduate training schemes and graduate jobs. Knowing the difference between a graduate scheme and a graduate job can help you decide which opportunity is right for you.

For further information on the differences between graduate training schemes and graduate jobs, see TARGETjobs’ what is a graduate job page.
