Research and innovation focus by domain
The CfAA works across domains connecting researchers and industry to move forward the state-of-the-art in safety assurance of autonomous systems. Our priority domains include maritime, health and social care, and automotive.
These sections present all of the research taking place in specific areas, they also highlight cross-domain work. Where possible, the guidance we publish is intentionally developed to be suitable for use in any domain, and so our research examples can often be applied in any sector.

Guidance
Our research, case studies and international engagement all lead to the development of state-of-the-art practical guidance available to anyone developing, regulating or researching the safety of RAS.
Opportunities
We support collaborations across the globe to advance the development of safe autonomous systems. We have a Fellowship scheme, fund new research and welcome exciting new opportunities.
