Get the knowledge and skills to help manage your money and thrive financially at York.

There is a lot to understand about money as a student. Whether that's student loans and finance, budgeting, finding part-time work to support your studies or assistance funding opportunities such as scholarships or bursaries.

The Student Support Team is your first point of contact for financial advice and discussing money worries at university.

We offer confidential, one-to-one appointments with student advisers who can work with you to budget, plan for your academic year and address any money worries. We can also provide guidance and support on the financial impact of things like gambling or gaming, and options for managing debt.

Our [Access It All money advice drop-in sessions](https://www.york.ac.uk/students/finance/managing-your-money/access-it-all-money-advice/), part of our Student Communities programme, are a welcoming space for disabled and neurodivergent undergraduate students to access free, specialist advice on a range of money related issues, including: Personal Independence Payments, Student Finance, Disabled Students Allowances and part-time work.
