# Intellectual Property Appointments

Do you need IP advice to help move your idea forward? We have a limited number of appointments where you can receive help from external IP specialists.

The process is as follows:

1. Email [samuel.smith@york.ac.uk](mailto:samuel.smith@york.ac.uk) to express interest. The Student Enterprise team will assign sessions based on need.
2. Once your appointment is confirmed, write a two-paragraph outline of the area you need help in, along with any key questions that you have.
3. Attend the half hour appointment at an agreed upon time.
