# Manchester Airport collection service

Coaches may be provided on certain days to collect students from Manchester Airport - you must book in advance.

If you're living on campus, your room will only be available from the date shown in your offer of accommodation. You should organise hotel accommodation in York if you arrive in the UK before that date.

Airport collection is free of charge, but places are limited, and bookings are on a first come, first served basis. We regret that we are unable to take family members or friends on the coaches; places are for new international students only.

Coaches will depart throughout the day from **9am until 3.30pm**.

### July and August 2026

**For pre-sessional students only.**

- Wednesday 29 July - six week on campus pre-sessional students
- Wednesday 12 August - four week on campus pre-sessional students

Booking must be done in advance and will be via e:Vision in the Your Support section once you complete online enrolment.

Booking deadlines are:

- 11.59pm BST on Wednesday 22 July for Wednesday 29 July collection
- 11.59pm BST on Wednesday 5 August for Wednesday 12 August collection

### September 2026

- Monday 14 September (**postgraduates only**)
- Friday 18 September (all students)
- Saturday 19 September (all students)

## How to book

Booking is available from 1 August 2026. Bookings must be made in advance via [e:Vision](https://evision.york.ac.uk/) in the 'Your Support' section. You can access e:Vision once you have completed your enrolment.

Booking deadlines are:

- 11.59pm BST on Sunday 6 September for 14 September collection.
- 11.59pm BST on Thursday 10 September for 18 and 19 September collection.

## What to bring

You are advised **not to bring more than two suitcases and one piece of hand luggage**. If you have more than the suggested number of suitcases we may have to ask you to travel to York at your own expense, due to limited luggage space on the coach. See information on [what to bring](https://www.york.ac.uk/students/new/international/what-to-bring/).
