Wired network connectivity is available across campus and at various offsite locations managed by the University.

Over 70,000 wired data sockets across the estate providing fast, secure and resilient network access to the Internet and internal University digital resources.

Contractors: \ If you're working on estate projects, such as new builds or refurbishments, request IP address registration for University devices (eg door locks and CCTV) through the Estates Project Manager or contact IT Services.

Compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS.

You should ensure you are running a current up-to-date, fully-patched operating system.

Free to use (charges may apply)

There isn’t a cost to use the wired network but there will be a charge for new data installations and larger refurbishment projects.

You're not allowed to use any of the following on the campus network. They can cause significant disruption and pose security risks.
