Bringing the past to life with the latest digital technologies.
The Centre for Digital Heritage (CDH) was established in 2012 to provide a focus for researchers from across the University of York with an interest in all fields of digital heritage, including data management, analysis and visualisation.
It brings together staff from the Departments of Archaeology, Computer Science, Electronics, History, Music, Sociology and the School of Arts and Creative Technologies, as well as the Humanities Research Centre and the Borthwick Institute for Archives.

Our local and global collaborations and interdisciplinary structure allow us to be responsive and make strategic, innovative interventions with high levels of social and economic impact.
