Bridging the gap between human brain function and our understanding of the mind.
The York Neuroimaging Centre (YNiC) is the hub of a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding the chemistry, structure and function of the human brain.
Our facilities include a 3-Tesla magnetic resonance imaging systems, whole-head magnetoencephalography, high-density electroencephalography, transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, a three-bedroom sleep lab and high-performance parallel computing.
